MONSTER MATCH

AS008

Monster Match is a fast-paced matching game that puts players’ observation and reflexes to the test.

The goal is to be the quickest player to spot and claim cute, donut-stealing monsters based on what you roll on the dice.
Here is how to set up and play the game:

1. Game Setup
  • Lay out the monsters: Shuffle the deck of monster cards and deal 10 cards face-up in the center of the table so everyone can see them. Leave the remaining deck face-down nearby.
  • Set up the tower: Assemble the Monster Tower  and place it where everyone can reach it.
  • Get the dice ready: Keep the two specialized monster dice nearby.

2. How to Play
The game is played in simultaneous, fast-paced rounds:
  • Roll the Dice: On your turn, take the two dice and drop them down into the top of the Monster Tower. One die will reveal a number (e.g., 0, 1, 2, 3...) and the other will reveal a body part (e.g., eyes, arms, legs).
  • The Race is On: As soon as the dice land, all players search simultaneously. Look at the 10 face-up cards to find a monster that has that exact number of that specific body part (for example, a monster with exactly three arms or zero eyes).
  • Slap a Match: The first person to spot a match must quickly place their finger on the card.
  • Fact-Check: The other players check the card. If the match is correct, that player takes the card and keeps it in their personal scoring pile.
  • No Matches? If the dice roll a combination that does not match any of the 10 face-up monsters, players race to slap the "No Match" token or standard deck pile. The fastest player gets to draw a card directly from the deck as a reward. After a no-match round, you add new cards to the table to refresh the options.
  • Refill the Table: Before rolling again, refill the center layout back up to 10 face-up monster cards from the main deck. The next player then rolls the dice.

🏆 Winning the Game
The game continues until the main deck runs out and all the cards on the table are cleared. Everyone counts up the total number of monsters (or points printed on the cards) they captured, and the player with the most cards wins!
