Objective
The goal is to solve the challenge cards by arranging the nine magnetic item tokens on the 3x3 crafting grid according to the clues provided.
How to play
- Select a challenge. Choose a challenge from the booklet. Start with the "Beginner" level to learn the rules before moving to more difficult puzzles.
- Examine the clues. Study the patterns shown on the challenge card. Each clue provides a different type of information about which item or characteristic (color or shape) goes in which spot.
- Place the tokens. Use the clues to place the nine magnetic items on the crafting table. You'll need to use logical deduction to figure out where each piece belongs.
- Confirm your solution. Once you have filled the entire 3x3 grid, check the solution provided at the back of the booklet to see if you are correct. You win when your arrangement matches the solution.
How to interpret clues
- Colored square: Indicates the color of the item in that position, but not the shape. For example, a gold square means a gold piece goes there, but it could be armor, a pickaxe, or a sword.
- Black and white symbol: Shows the shape of the item, but not the color. For example, a black and white pickaxe means a pickaxe goes in that spot, but it could be iron, gold, or diamond.
- Fully colored symbol: Tells you both the specific shape and color of the item for that spot. For example, a fully colored diamond sword means that the diamond sword goes there.
- Negative clues (Advanced and Expert levels): These appear on a darker background and show a pattern or item that is not allowed in the final solution. For example, a negative clue showing two armor pieces together means they cannot be placed next to each other.
- Blank spaces: In a clue, a blank space simply shows the precise location of the other clue elements, and any item can be placed in that spot
